Ficciones Typografika is a project dedicated to typographic exploration in a public space in Minneapolis. It is curated by Erik Brandt. Happily my posters serie Light on - Light off is now part of Ficciones Typografika project! The title is a metaphor of think (or not), act (or not), decide (or not), discover (or not), love (or not)…
The challenge was to design neon lights only using black and white, ink and paper.
The round shapes represent the letter “O” and contain an “N” or an “FF”, to explicit the title of the posters: Light on - Light off. I designed letters “N” and “FF”, starting from a serif font and mixing it with geometrical shapes.
